Agreement
Squeezels is made by Roobley. By downloading or using Squeezels, you agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and to these terms, which add details specific to Squeezels. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement applies.
Free and Pro
The free version compresses up to 30 images a day. Squeezels Pro removes the daily limit and unlocks converting between formats. Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($1.99), a yearly subscription ($11.99) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($14.99). Prices are in US dollars and may differ in your country.
Subscriptions
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Squeezels's Settings or in your App Store account settings. When you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are at Apple's discretion. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your files
Your images stay yours. Squeezels processes them on your Mac and never uploads them. Lossy formats discard some image detail by design, and you can choose to overwrite your originals, so please keep backups of any images you can't replace. You are responsible for having the right to the images you process.
Open-source components
Squeezels includes open-source encoders, among them mozjpeg, oxipng, libwebp and libavif. Each is provided under its own licence, which these terms do not change.
Warranty and liability
Squeezels is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Roobley gives no warranties beyond those in Apple's agreement and is not liable for lost data or indirect damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Squeezels after a change means you accept the new terms.
